Cricket4KidsIndia is an extension of Cricket4Kids Australia connecting Indian sporting teams and communities across the globe. Our focus is the collection, transportation and distribution of unwanted cricket equipment to children in less fortunate circumstances. These partnerships ensure that Cricket4kids’ objectives are met with equipment reaching some of the most vulnerable and underprivileged youth in the country.
We at Cricket4kidsIndia believe that this initiative serves a second purpose in inspiring the Indian cricketing society to be more engaged in the international language of cricket. We aim to expand individual’s and clubs’ cricketing experiences beyond their own accolades and participation to the world where cricket serves such an important psychosocial role.
Cricket4kidsIndia is now operating in New Delhi, the capital of India and will expand later to other regions of the country. You can contribute to the social and noble cause of spreading out smiles on these little faces.
Cricket4Kids Australia has already been distributing cricket equipments to Australia’s (Indigenous and asylum seeker organisations), Cook Islands, East Timor, Indonesia, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Rwanda, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Tonga, Vanuatu, and now in India.
The team at Cricket4KidsIndia are inspirational. Their generosity in volunteering time and energy to procure cricket equipment will have direct impact to the growth of cricket in the country. I strongly urge every corporate to take the opportunity to affiliate themselves with a productive, innovative and passionate volunteer organisation and in doing so make a direct contribution to the development of cricket, and most especially, the lives of youth in the country.
